During the week of September 25th to 28th, we were present in the cities of Bogota and Cartagena, representing Goudappel as part of a trade mission and as experts of the Dutch Cycling Embassy in order to share knowledge in the week of sustainable mobility.
Trade mission
We met with local agents, local government people and Colombian transportation consultants to share experiences and seek opportunities for collaboration and joint work.
Capacity Building workshop
Together with the director of the Dutch cycling embassy, the director of active mobility of IenW and other experts in the area of mobility, we gave workshops on: the promotion of cycling, cycling infrastructure and intermodality. We also carried out several activities, such as: Bike ride to learn about the Colombian cycling experience, feedback to current local mobility projects, signing of MoU, mutual collaboration agreement on sustainable mobility issues between the government of the Netherlands and Colombia and screening of the film Together We Cycle – (Open Air Cinema).
